    Overview

International Satellite Base "Europa" stopped responding and went dark. The general calls you personally and wants you on a rescue mission to the dead space station. Now you have to restore the power, repair defunct devices and do other maintenance tasks to make Europa that extra shiny star on the European sky again.

And be sure there are surprises hidden in the cargo crates and the experiments bay, high, high in Earth's low orbit.

Feel the thrill of space adventure in this space station simulator with point-and-click elements from the science-fiction writer Bartek Biedrzycki, loosely based on the novel "Half the Sky" and on the real-life events on the Soviet space station Salyut 7.

    Tasks along the way

    In flight
Extend the docking antenna, deploy the docking gear, turn the RCS on
    Docking
Reach the axial port on the Czechoslovakian module without hitting the station
    Power
Connect and deploy the solar panels, install a rectifier for the battery bank
    Modules
Enter Bohemia, Mazovia and Panonia, fetch tools and materials, repair the oxygen generator
    Spacewalk
Put on the EVA suit, swap the antenna actuator, set up the comm link with Gołdap
    Final day
Feed the hamster, switch on the radio beacon, activate the RCS

    Ways to fail

    Docking
Three hull collisions damage the docking ring and abort the mission
    Airlock
Opening the spacewalk airlock without the EVA suit on
    After failing
Choose Restart last save to try again from that day

    Tips

    1. Examine everything. Cargo crates and lockers hold the cables, tools and parts that later tasks ask for, and progress is saved at the start of each day, so a failure only costs you that day.
    2. When docking, line the craft up with the port before closing in. Each bump into the station counts towards the three collisions that end the mission.
    3. The main airlock will not open while the RCS engines are still running, so switch the RCS off on the control panel after docking.
    4. Find and put on the EVA suit stored in Panonia before you open the spacewalk airlock; opening it without the suit is fatal.
    5. On the last day the hamster in the experiments bay wakes up hungry. Search the cargo lockers in Mazovia for dried hamster crackers.

    Secrets

The Game Boy in the cargo crate

Search the tool crate in Bohemia before you are asked to find the rectifier, or the technical supplies crate in Bohemia on a later day, and you find a Game Boy. Once the last day's three tasks are done, you are asked whether to play it: choose "Game on, boy!" and press Start on the title card to play a bonus labyrinth level. Watch out for the fire tiles.
