    Overview

Snake is the classic: steer the snake to the food, and every bite makes it one square longer. Running into a wall, an obstacle or your own tail ends the run.

Before each run, pick the speed, the map size, how many obstacles stand in the way and one of four colour themes. Each mix of speed, map and obstacles has its own scoreboard; the theme only changes the look.

    Tips

    1. You can only turn a quarter turn at a time, and two quick presses are both kept, so a fast U-turn is two taps in a row.
    2. The tail moves out of the way as the head moves in, so following your own tail closely is safe.
    3. On a long snake, sweep the map in rows instead of heading straight for the food, so you never cut off the space you need later.
